The wellness and yoga retreat in Thailand is being held in our beautiful 5 bedroom Lanna Villa. Our home is built on a former mango grove. In the garden we have tamarind, papaya, mango, lime and lychee trees. Our homely retreat is situated on a small residential area in a quaint village called Baan Mae Ann. In the village we have a pretty Buddhist temple which we visit on our walks.
Our program offers a blend of activities to uplift and balance your mind, body and soul. Our active wellbeing and yoga retreat in Thailand includes daily
yoga and meditation. There is a cycle day adventure to a nearby waterfall. Other activities include pilates, fitness, kettle bell workout and beautiful guided walks. In the evening we have yoga Nidra, sound baths and restorative yoga.
We also visit temples, lakes and the famous Chiang Mai night bazaar and Sunday walk in market. To relax and unwind we have Thai and foot massages.

Louise creates a nourishing container for everyone to come together, to listen and to journey with this ancient land. The focus of this retreat is renewal and finding balance and equilibrium. Accommodation at the wellness and yoga retreat Thailand
We have a comfortable homely Lanna villa which has five en-suite bedrooms and we also have one bedroom detached two story Lanna villa suites.
These villa’s are comfortable and airy, with smart TV’s and are designed in the Thai Lanna style. All our rooms have daily cleaning, safes, hair dryers, air con, en-suites and tea and coffee making facilities.
Healthy meal plan at our wellness and yoga retreat Thailand
We will provide you with delicious healthy cuisine in a calm and magical setting. Meals are eaten in our Lanna Villa and we also eat out at local restaurants. If you like Thai food then you won’t be disappointed. A sample of our Thai specialities include Phad Thai, Thai green curry, Som Tum smoked salmon, Tom Kha Gai ( coconut soup with chicken) and our healthy favourite is Khao Soi with vegetables.
Our fresh meal plan also includes fresh fruit like mango and papaya, salads and soups. We we love our fresh juices and guests get fresh coconuts straight off of the trees. Our nourishing smoothies and juices are made onsite in our own kitchen!
Adjustable meal plan designed for your unique dietary requirements
We have our own Chef Khun Ning who will prepare and cook some of our meals for us. Our standard menu can be adjusted for vegetarians and vegans. It you have different dietary requirements then Louise will help you with meal choices. All meals are gluten and dairy free.
We also eat outside of the Lanna Villa. On Sundays, during the cycle day, we eat at the beautiful ‘ Sala cafe’ restaurant. The Sala cafe is situated in the unspoilt Thai countryside with beautiful exotic gardens and relaxing atmosphere. On Wednesdays we eat at ‘Tub-usa’, a local authentic restaurant. On Thursdays we shower, sauna and swim at the 5 star Shangri-la Hotel. After this we eat out in Chiang Mai city right next to the Ping river!
Much of the fresh food comes from local organic farms. The wellness and yoga retreat in Thailand is also perfectly suited for people who need to switch off and destress. Surrounding yourself with nature, healthy food and exercising are all very emotionally therapeutic. Louise is an experienced wellness and yoga retreat in Thailand host and is the founder of the Fresh Start fitness Thailand retreat in Chiang Mai Thailand. Fresh Start was established in 2010 and has 171 excellent reviews on Trip Adviser.
Louise creates a sacred container for her guests to come together to replenish and to renew.
You will be in safe hands with Louise she has been teaching and leading group classes for 35 years and has a Degree in Leisure and Sports Studies. Louise has been travelling to Thailand since she was 22 years old and has owned a home in Thailand since 2009. Her brother and his family live in Chiang Mai.
Louise is a British Wheel of Yoga, Yoga Alliance Yoga Nidra and British School of Meditation qualified teacher and holds an OCR level 3 qualification in pilates. Louise is also a Sound Healing and Soul Purpose practitioner .

Louise’s wellness and yoga retreat Thailand is an all inclusive program. Included in the program is the accommodation, 3 meals a day, juices, smoothies, healthy treats, herbal teas, bottled water, 4 massages, round trip airport or hotel pick up.
This is a totally guided and 100% escorted activity program. Louise and her assistant Methee will be with you every step of the way.
During the retreat you benefit from Thai and reflexology massages. We also have a fresh water swimming pool and all set in peaceful relaxing surroundings.
We will take you to amazing tourist attractions like Chiang Mai night bazaar as well as off the beaten track to cultural Thai villages and landmarks.
